This is PARADISE!!
We enjoyed a two night stay in November 2017 and absolutely LOVED it! The location is absolutely stunning with the backdrop of a beautiful mountain ridge covered in lush bush and the amazing adjoining rain forest. WE stayed in the Byron Lodge and it is amazing! Tastefully and beautifully fitted out, including marble and quality fittings in the ‘bathroom’ (a beautiful space including a large free standing two person spa bath and a shower with two shower heads, one large ceiling mounted water fall effect shower head and the other a detachable wall mounted shower head and there’s plenty of water pressure to enjoy both together), marble and a separate and private Japanese bidet / toilet. There is ample space, high ceilings and amazing views out of the multitude of ceiling to floor windows. The kitchen is well equipped, including a Nespresso pod machine (pods supplied) and a two way log fired located between the living area and bedroom is a nice touch. The lodge has central heading / cooling (floor outlets), loads of charm and charming lighting, candles and multiple tee lights are supplied. It’s simply stunning at nights. The lodge opens out to a huge deck through two very large slide away doors to the front of the lodge and one to the side, which opens to a BBQ. In addition to the BBQ, the deck includes a small two person dining suite, a large corner outdoor lounge and best of all a gorgeous infinity plunge pool (solar heated). The property has multiple walks to enjoy from easy to moderate to intense. We did the rainforest walk of around 50 minutes which was something else! Thoroughly recommend.
