13 July 2016We booked one of the Glass House Bungalows. What a great experience! Very private. Perfect for couples who wants to escape from it all and come closer to nature. All stress disappears, just sit back and enjoy! “No worries” as they say in Australia :-)
Heaven on earth!
11 June 2016Absolutely perfect!!!!! From the warm welcome, delivery to our cabin in the golf buggy, explanation of our cabin features, and resort facilities, everything was divine! We came here to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary and it was the ideal place. It is so private, that you hardly know there are other guests. The attention to detail is every where. The delivered homemade meals, that you heat up when it is convenient to you are just perfect, as was the picnic lunch that includes lots of locally made products. Not to mention the location, which is the best our Country has to offer. You feel so rejuvenated! We will definitely be back!!!
Simply Stunning
6 June 2016Me and my husband came here for our 1 year anniversary, and the entire stay, from start to finish, was amazing…
The drive into the property was filled with nature’s beauty and we knew that we were in for a great stay, feeling immediately relaxed. Reception was very helpful and detailed about their amenities available.
We then went to our room, a glass terrace, and one way to put it was WOW. Being completely surrounded by rainforest with no one being able to see in was such a treat. The room was more than comfortable, filled with tealights and fire wood and the bathroom was amazing, used the bathtub every day! The perfect size for our 5 night stay.
The food they provided was delicious. We got the breakfasts every morning which I definitely think is worth getting. It’s delicious and sure beats the heck out of weetbix. We got 2 dinners, which left us bursting at the pant line, special mention goes to the chicken and mushroom stroganoff, that was extra tasty! The other nights I just took my own pre made meals up, but their dinners were much more substantial.
We did all the walks except for the boundary walk. I don’t think I am the world’s fittest person by any means, and boy was that lookout walk exhausting, but the view was definitely worth it. Also take some time to go and checkout the glow worms for something a little different.
We did our own picnic lunch in the orchard which was beautiful as well.
The whole place is stunning, can’t fault anything about it. If you’re looking to get away from a busy lifestyle then do here !!!!

Magic place
18 May 2016Wonderful location. The walks were scenic and the hammocks over the creek an experience to remember. Mark and his team were very accommodating and made every effort to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We stayed in Cedar Lodge and especially enjoyed the heated plunge pool.
Second time around and equally as amazing!
3 May 2016This was our second stay at Crystal Creek and again we were not disappointed!
On our first stay we chose one of the Mountain View Luxury Lodges, which we loved. This time around we chose to try the Rainforest Luxury Lodge, or Cedar Lodge. This Lodge was nestled into the rainforest and was amazingly private.
On arrival we were met by the lovely Amanda, who explained everything we needed to know about the Lodge and the Resort itself. When we arrived at the Lodge it was gorgeous!
The view from each and every window was of lush rainforest, be it in the lounge room, laying in bed, relaxing in the bath or chilling by the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity.
The Lodge provided everything you could need. With the full kitchen and appliances, coffee machine, sound system, flat screen TV, wifi internet, mozzie coils and repellent and even an umbrella at the front door for those wet days.
We did unfortunately have one minor problem with our Lodge on arrival which the staff responded to very quickly. The pool heating system had broken down and with us checking in on a Saturday afternoon it was sadly not able to be fixed while we were there. Although we were disappointed, as this was one of the main reasons we’d chosen this Lodge, the management at Crystal Creek automatically offered us ample compensation. We really appreciated it.
We will most definitely be back again!! I wonder which Lodge we’ll try next time??
Booyong. Excellent retreat in the rain forest
3 May 2016My wife and I stayed 2 nights in the Booyong Rain Forest Canopy Bungalow and were extremely impressed. … Booyong offers a car space right in front of the villa with was handy to unpack all our gear. Booyong is a split level with full kitchen, balcony, lounge room, upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The view from Booyong overlooks a rainforest and is amazing. On arrival Booyong had the heater already basting away which was nice as being April it was starting to be cold. The fireplace was set up ready to throw a match in and have a roaring fire. The Bungalow had an awesome feel about it, it was so relaxing. The windows are enormous and offer views from any point in the villa. … We opted to have dinner supplied the first night and breakfast on both mornings … These were delicious and supplied ready to throw on the BBQ or the stove top. Quick and easy to cook. … On the second night we had bought our own steak and salad which worked out cheaper. … Both nights we made our way to the Glow Worms which is about a 5 min walk from reception. The Glow worms were spectacular, the best I have seen on the Gold Coast.
I would highly recommend this retreat to anyone after a romantic weekend away, or just to get away from life for a day or two. Free wifi is supplied in the rooms.
Sounds of Silence
11 April 2016We stayed in the Springbrook Mountain View lodge for 2 nights. The view was magnificent and the silence divine. The lodge was beautifully appointed. The DVD collection one of the best and the walks surrounding the property unique and beautiful.
We would self cater next time as you had to cook your own breakfast and the dinners were reasonably basic. The sun was out and being March there was still a fair amount of heat in the sun, the plunge pool still remained very chilly. It’s solar heated, and we feel it needs gas heating to make it usable. Staff were excellent. We will be back!

10 April 2016Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat is Perfect in every way. Just Arrive and Relax in the privacy of your Bungalow. Wake up to spectacular views and the sounds of the rainforest. Take an outdoor shower, wander to the rock pools for a refreshing dip and relax in the hammocks suspended above the falls. Enjoy beautiful rainforest walks throughout the day and visit the Glow worms when they shine blue at night. The meals provided in the packages are outstanding, and there is plenty of beautiful gourmet food proved in the meals. I would recommend ordering the meals they are delicious! The attention to detail in the service is outstanding. There is not a thing missed. Pick up your Lunch in a backpack or basket depending if you are heading the rock pools, orchard or any other nook you find on the property. And don’t forget to select one of the beautiful timber walking sticks for your walk into the rainforest feeling like you are embarking on a “Lord of the Rings” adventure.
