Wow! Thank you for this amazing experience. My husband and I stayed in the Carabeen cabin for our first wedding anniversary and we will be back. The lookout hike was stunning, the hammocks over the creek, everything about this place was so magical. It has been very special to us this is why we will be back.

Simply stunning! My husband surprised me with a two night stay in a mountain view lodge, and WOW! this place is absolutely GORGEOUS. Amazed at even little things like heated towel racks & heated marble floor in the bathroom! An absolute hidden treasure 😍 100% recommend!

Can’t wait to return. Our visit to this luxurious yet relaxed retreat surpassed any expectations we could have had. It is perfect for the discerning traveler wanting luxury, natural beauty and privacy. Everything was thought of. You wanted nor needed nothing. The attention to detail and cleanliness was immaculate. We stayed in a Luxury Mountain View Lodge and are already planning our next visit to the same lodge. Every aspect included in the lodge and on the property itself was wonderful. The hike we went on, the hammocks swaying above the swimming holes, the team that work there – just perfect! Do yourself a favour and stay here with your partner, you’ll bliss out and never want to leave.

This is our second stay with CCRR. Let’s just say not the last. It’s the most unbelievable, relaxing and most romantic getaway. You’re secluded in your own luxury cabin surrounded by the most spectacular backdrop of rainforest and wild life. We are sitting on the deck contemplating never leaving. From when you first walk in the door, you’ve automatically forgotten about any stress. Cabins are so well presented and clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating. There is no fault with CCRR. It’s our special place as my partner proposed by the rock pools 2 years ago and we are back celebrating our ninth year together. Thank you to Mark and the CCRR team x

Special 5 star feel connecting with nature

Absolutely stunning and peaceful getaway to the rainforest. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for that special 5 star feel connecting with nature. The heated floors, towel rails and granite bath were my fav, lots of little things that were thought out well. Food was also amazing 😊 with very friendly and accommodating staff. Loved it 😍

A massive thankyou to CCRR staff for creating the most amazing get away for our honeymoon. There has been so much thought put into the retreat and what it offers. After the hectic lead up to our wedding, the calm & quiet ambience of crystal creek was just what we needed. The food is outstanding, the high quality finishes within the studio are great, and the attention to detail in presentation was delightful. We would thoroughly recommend a stay to anyone wanting to step away from their hectic lives. Thankyou again & we look forward to returning.

We have been coming to CCRR for around 10 years and for this year’s wedding anniversary we stayed in Byron. WOW what an amazing experience. We were blown away by how well appointed it was and you can tell the owners reinvest with the latest modern amenities and furnishings. Can’t wait to come back next year.

relaxing paradise TA5

ccrr had been on our radar for many many years. i can very happily say it lived up to all expectations and surpassed them.

this is the place you come to when you want to get away from it all and enjoy some privacy. if your batteries needs recharging, this is the place to be. if you need a digital detox, you’ve come to the right place. if it’s romance you’re after, look no further.

an easy thirty minute drive inland from murwillumbah delivers you to this pristine little slice of paradise, surrounded by national park. from memory there’s only twelve cabins/lodges dotted around the landscape, nestled among the trees. all are completely private and all connect you in some unique way to the beauty of the rainforest.

we stayed in a mountain view lodge which had a front row view of springbrook mountain. we simply could not believe our eyes when we opened the door. floor to ceiling windows completely down one side of the lodge with the most stunning view. we were there in winter but the lodge was comfortably warm courtesy of the central heating. there’s also a combustion fireplace that does the job beautifully at night.

we opted for breakfast and dinner daily and were very glad we did. our three dinners were delicious and very generous in their portions. i don’t mind cooking, but it was nice to have these dinners delivered in the afternoon, ready for re-heating. they’ve obviously got this down to a fine art because the meats in our various dishes was tender and beautifully cooked. breakfast too was abundant and with a wide selection to cover all tastes. it should be said that these aren’t room service-style options. these need to be ordered at least 48hrs in advance of your arrival.

the bed was super comfortable, allowing for a great night’s sleep. and of course it’s quiet. in fact it’s quiet all the time.
the ccrr team are so personable and welcoming. their demeanours seem to fit seamlessly with the environment around them – chilled and relaxed. and in this day and age where we all seem to be go go go, it’s both a delightful and i would say essential state of mind for you to indulge.

Some relaxing babymoon time

My fiancé and I have returned to this beautiful destination for our babymoon to spend some relaxing quality time together before we become three. We first visited Crystal Creek and stayed in Satinash for our five year anniversary. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a mountain view with plunge pool. I can’t say enough to really convey how special this place is. The cabins are set completely immersed in stunning nature. They are secluded and private and serenely quiet. The facilities are modern, luxurious top quality. It’s clean, comfortable and well accommodating for all your basic needs. It’s so relaxing and therapeutic here that a week here would recharge anyone looking for a country escape. Kitchen had everything we could need to cook up a storm, big fridge for all the supplies we bought up. This is heaven on earth. Everything so comfortable, huge new TV, great couch. Huge bath too.
